Configure Your Computer With IIS7 or above !

Now before Start configuring your computer as IIS server Make sure you are logged in to your computer as administrator ,You should have all right to the administration of your computer. Now you can start .

Step :1

Go to the start button right click on it ,Select Control panel As shown in the figure:1 .

Now click on programs and you will find programs and features on the dialog window as shown in the figure:2 .

Go to the dialog window click on Turn Windows Features On and Off . you will get one more dialog window Named as Windows Feature wait till all feature will shown to you.

Find the feature named Internet Information Services and expand it as shown in figure:3.

Now you will find World Wide Web Services over there ,Now expand it and will get Application Development Features . Expand it To see all features you need to enable.

Now almost you have done Check all the feature you want to enable to the IIS .

How To Rearm Windows 8 Enterprise Evaluation To Extend 90 Days Trial

Microsoft has officially released evaluation (trial) version of Windows 8 RTM (Final Build). It is Enterprise version which would run for free till 90 days without any limitation. Rearm is a inbuilt feature which lets you extend trial period of Windows 8.

Not a new one but it is around in all Microsoft Products like Windows 7 Rearm or even Office 2010 rearm is also possible.

So, it isn’t cracking or illegal method to activate Windows 8. If you want to continue trial version for some more days, re-arm Windows 8 Evaluation version.

You can rearm the evaluation and make it run more than 90 days after expiration of Trial Period.

1)To see the current license information of Windows 8, type the following command:

     slmgr /dli

2) To see the detailed information of the current license type, type the following command:    

    slmgr /dlv
3) To see the expiration date of the current license, type the following command:
     slmgr /xpr 
4) To extend the current license grace period again and rearm Windows, type the following command:
     slmgr /rearm

All the commands are really not required, they are given just for information. Optionally you can perform Step 1 and Step 4.

My first event in my college as an MSP.

Today we had an event in my college campus. It was a great experience for me to have my first campus event drive in my college as an MSP. We had five session in the event (MSP Intro, Windows Phone 8, windows 8, windows Azure, IE -9/10). I would like to thank Mr. Niwin Santhosh & Mr. Vivek Invincible for their the windows phone session & Mr. Karthik Padmanabhan for the windows 8 session ,Mr. Prasaanth Sundar for the windows Azure session and Mr. Prabuddha Mishra for the IE-9/10 session, all the session were wonderful, technical as well cool with demonstrations . I had handled the MSP Intro session and covered information about MSP, how to be an MSP, benefits of MSP, MS programs for MSP as well as for non msp students including Imagine Cup, Student to business, Ed-Vantage, etc. Thanks to all those who supported me to have this successful event.

EDUCATION LOAN SUBSIDY SCHEME FINALIZED

To make education loans cheaper, a scheme was finalised Thursday to provide full interest subsidy on the loans taken by students with annual family income below Rs.4.5 lakh to pursue technical and professional courses.

The format for the scheme was finalised after a meeting between the Human Resource Development (HRD) ministry and the Indian Banks' Association (IBA).

"The scheme provides interest subvention to students for the period of their course. The interest for this period will be paid to the banks by the government," a ministry official said.

The Canara Bank was finalised as the nodal bank for IBA member banks to claim the subsidy amount reimbursement.

The scheme, which was approved by the cabinet last year, provides interest subvention to students with annual family income below Rs.4.5 lakh for the period till there course finishes. It will provide interest subvention from the academic year 2009-10.

"The moratorium period also covers the time taken by the student to get a job, or one year, whichever comes first," the official said.

The scheme will be valid for all loans from scheduled banks for pursuing courses in professional and technical streams from recognised institutes in India.

"All eligible students who wish to avail the benefits should approach the respective bank branch from where they availed of the education loan and complete the necessary formalities, including obtaining the certification in respect of annual family income from the competent authority at the local level," the official said.

The individual student accounts will then be credited with the interest due on the loan for the academic year 2009-10 onwards, the official added.

The scheme is effective for all IBA-approved educational loans.
